Morrighan Films is an independently owned and operated film production company. We are an extremely small company, operating mainly with the help of volunteers and unpaid student interns. We are located 40 minutes east of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's capital city.

Morrighan Films is named after the Crone aspect of the Celtic War Goddess. Morrighan represented sovereignty, independence, judgement, and strength. What better patron for an independent film company whose driving force is a woman? A raven or crow often accompanied the Morrighan, and the logo for Morrighan Films includes a raven.
